Programme Overview
The Senior Academy programme is designed for ambitious players aged 15+ who are committed to developing their cricket and preparing for the demands of senior, representative and performance environments through highly performance focused coaching.
Sessions will focus on strengthening technical foundations through a combination of skill acquisition, deliberate practice, advanced drills and constraint-based learning methods. Players will be challenged to refine their individual skills while developing a greater understanding of how to apply them effectively within competitive situations.
As the programme progresses, training will increasingly replicate the pressures, intensity and decision-making demands of match play. Through challenging scenarios and performance-focused activities, players will develop tactical awareness, game intelligence and the ability to execute skills consistently under pressure.
Throughout the programme, players will develop:
-
Advanced batting, bowling and fielding skills
-
Tactical awareness and game management
-
Decision-making under pressure
-
Match-specific problem solving
-
Performance habits and routines
-
Confidence, resilience and self-management skills
-
Understanding of process-driven performance and outcomes
-
Preparation for senior and representative cricket environments
Player Development: Our coaching team will conduct ongoing assessments throughout the programme, providing players with regular feedback and clear areas for development. This player-centred approach helps participants better understand their strengths, identify key performance goals and take ownership of their cricketing development.
Strength and Conditioning will be integrated throughout the programme, with a focus on long-term athletic development, cricket-specific movement and match readiness.
Sessions are designed to support performance, physical robustness and injury prevention while helping players prepare more effectively for training and competition.
