Service Description

Players will take part in a range of cricket-based activities and skill assessments, allowing our coaching team to evaluate their current level of technical, tactical and physical development. The session helps us ensure that every player is placed in the most appropriate training group, providing the right level of challenge and support to maximise their long-term progression. Our aim is to create an environment in which every player can develop their skills, build confidence and benefit from high-quality coaching alongside others of a similar stage and ability. Whilst players will be assessed within their age-group session, programme allocations are based on a combination of age, ability, experience, physical readiness and coach assessment. As a result, some players may be invited to train in a group outside of their usual age category where this is considered beneficial to their development. Following the assessment, families will be contacted with details of the group their child has been allocated to and information on how to book their place for the remainder of the programme.
